What You Will Be Doing We are looking for a QA Manual Tester with at least three years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing processes, a basic understanding of databases (SQL & MongoDB), cloud platforms (Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint), and familiarity with Linux commands for debugging. Key Responsibilities Requirement Analysis: Understand project requirements and define testing scope Test Planning & Scenario Creation: Develop test plans, strategies, and scenarios Test Case Design: Write detailed test cases covering functional and non-functional aspects Test Execution: Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and retesting Defect Reporting & Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects to resolution Regression Testing: Ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality Final Validation & Sign-off: Conduct final testing before software release Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders for quality assurance Database Testing: Write basic SQL queries and MongoDB commands to validate data integrity Cloud Testing: Perform basic validation of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint integrations Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field 3+ years’ experience in manual software testing Experience with test management & bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla) Strong understanding of Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, Functional, Non-function, Regression, Retesting, Smoke & Sanity Testing Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SQL queries & MongoDB for data validation Basic knowledge of Azure, OneDrive, Exchange, and SharePoint Understanding of Linux commands for debugging and log analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration Work Environment On-site with some flexibility Alternate Saturday working schedule CrashPlan values workplace diversity and ensuring an environment of mutual respect.
