Role and Responsibilities As a Warehouse Worker at Amazon, you will play an essential part in ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and shipped on time. This position involves working in a dynamic, physically active environment where teamwork and technology are key. Core responsibilities include: • Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials. • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to pick customer orders and pack products securely for delivery. • Shipping: Label, stage, and move packages to prepare them for timely shipment. • Workplace Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized. • Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (with certification) and complete safety checks. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals. • Safety and Compliance: Follow all Amazon safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements.
