With a strong and expanding international presence, MO1 partners with medical institutions, research sites, hospitals, and sponsors to streamline study execution, enhance patient engagement, and drive quality results.Job DescriptionAs Milestone One continues its global expansion, we are seeking a Manager Business Development to join our international team. This newly created position complements our current Business Development Manager role and is key to strengthening MO1’s worldwide operations.The person in this role will oversee business development activities within an assigned region and act as a strategic leader, driving rapid growth by building extensive networks of medical institutions, hospitals, and research centers. Together with the existing Manager Business Development, you will accelerate the development of MO1’s global footprint, ensure operational excellence, and represent the company at key international forums.This is a regional role, region to be assigned.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage business development initiatives in your region to rapidly expand networks of clinical research sites, hospitals, and medical centers.Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.Plan and execute market expansion strategies to scale regions efficiently while ensuring alignment with MO1’s global objectives.Represent Milestone One at international meetings, conferences, and networking events.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, operational efficiency, and consistent communication of MO1’s strategic vision.Support the other Manager Business Development to enable cross-regional continuity and synergy.Mentor and guide team members to foster a high-performance, results-oriented culture.Monitor KPIs, report on progress, and proactively address risks or barriers to growth.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, including leading teams and scaling operations within clinical research, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.Experience working in SMO (Site Management Organization) – preferably within an international or global scope – is a strong advantage.Proven track record in rapidly developing regions, building large networks of medical institutions, and driving business growth.Strong strategic thinking and project execution skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities.Fluent English (C1 level or higher); other languages are an asset.Collaborative, professional, and results-driven, with the ability to inspire teams and partners.Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.Additional InformationWhat We Offer • A unique opportunity to lead the growth of MO1’s global network of research sites, hospitals, and medical institutions. • Collaboration with an experienced, international team focused on strategic expansion. • Dynamic, fast-growing, and innovative work environment. • Flexible working arrangements (remote/hybrid). • Form of employment to be agreed – employment contract or contractor agreement.
