Junior Software Engineer

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer to assist with porting and integrating autonomy software, ensuring consistent functionality and performance. Responsibilities Assist in porting and developing autonomy software components from one software baseline to another, ensuring compatibility and performance Work with senior engineers to identify and resolve software issues that arise during the porting process Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and data scientists, to support integration and testing efforts Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery Utilize version control systems and continuous integration tools to manage code changes and ensure smooth deployment Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Active DoD secret clearance Basic understanding of programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git) and development environments (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse) Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn about software porting and autonomy systems Familiarity with software testing methodologies and debugging tools Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience with robotics, unmanned systems, or autonomy software development Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded systems Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Life and Accidental Death & Disability Coverage Traditional 401(k) and ROTH 401(k) Retirement Plans Paid Time Off and Holidays Professional Development Opportunities Incentive Programs, Awards and Recognition Employee Assistance Program Will Preparation Identity Theft Protection & Legal Support Referral Program Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Coverage Pet Insurance Norton Life Lock HSA and FSA plans Company Overview Agility .
