They are looking for a Data Engineer to build and support data pipelines that power analytics solutions, transforming raw data into structured datasets for business insights. Responsibilities Develop and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS and/or Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines Design and optimize workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for business analysts and reporting teams Collaborate with analysts to deliver modelled data for dashboards and reports Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and integrations Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably with a focus on Data Science and Analytics) or equivalent experience Strong experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipeline design Ability to work collaboratively with analytics and business teams Completed Data Science coursework or certification Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, or similar ETL tools Familiarity with IBM Cognos, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common Data Science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse concepts Interest in data analytics and visualization Benefits An environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued The opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team The possibility to work from home occasionally Flexible schedules Attractive employee benefits Company Overview CAE provides simulation and modeling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation industry.
