**Experienced Full Stack Finance Professional – Assistant Controller**

We're committed to empowering our employees with the skills, resources, and support they need to succeed in their roles and achieve their career goals. **Job Summary** We're searching for an experienced and skilled Assistant Controller to lead our financial management and accounting capabilities. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing monthly close, internal and external reporting, audits, frameworks, and strategies. This role requires a deep technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex issues across multiple disciplines. **Key Responsibilities** * Direct center GL accounting teams covering asset report, opex, and global accounting, and develop opportunities for colleagues' growth and development. * Take responsibility for planning, audit, and accuracy of all financial, administrative, and investor reporting. * Support new and existing research and products by working cross-functionally to manage risk, and build and maintain adaptable accounting processes. * Identify opportunities for automation of manual processes and lead system implementations to streamline accounting and reporting processes. * Manage key external agency relationships with auditors, outsourced accountants, technical accounting advisors, and key partners. * Work with broader arenaflex Finance to analyze financial performance, provide recommendations to senior leadership, and support key decision-making. **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year college education with 3+ years of moderate experience in senior accounting leadership positions at a mix of public organizations, late-stage startups, and/or public accounting firms. * CPA or CA with a deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements for different types of legal entities. * Strong project management skills including tact and ability to prioritize and lead high-need projects on concurrent timelines. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to convey complex ideas across various audiences. * Experience working with modern software and systems, especially NetSuite and Zip. * Strong analytical skills, including working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. * Knowledge of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and financial reporting. * Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as SOX and ASC 606. * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. * Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. **What We're Looking For** * An energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, uncertain environment and is eager to lead multiple projects. * Someone who is passionate about new challenges and doesn't have all the answers, but enjoys the process of figuring them out. * An exceptional colleague who can explain complex topics easily, in any format, and is proactive about keeping everyone informed. * A top-notch leader who coaches people around them, helps set plans, and unblocks universal issues. * A builder who not only sees the opportunity to directly impact how an organization works, but also enjoys it. **What We Offer** * A competitive salary of $26/hour. * A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. * A 401(k) matching program. * A generous PTO policy. * A dynamic and supportive work environment. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A chance to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about driving financial excellence and innovation. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced finance professional who is passionate about driving financial excellence and innovation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
