As a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll be part of the Consumer Insight group within the Worldwide Marketing and Sales Association, which plays a critical role in driving business decisions with integrated, objective, and actionable insights. • *Day in the Life** As a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: • Conducting qualitative and quantitative customer research to inform business decisions • Analyzing data and presenting findings to internal stakeholders • Developing and implementing research studies to gather insights on consumer behavior • Collaborating with subject matter experts to design and execute research projects • Communicating research findings and recommendations to internal partners • Contributing to the development of business strategies and recommendations based on research insights • *What We're Looking For** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and qualities, including: • **Critical thinking and analytical skills**: You'll need to be able to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions. • **Research expertise**: You should have experience with SPSS or a similar statistical software package, as well as a solid understanding of research methodologies and design. • **Communication skills**: You'll need to be able to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. • **Collaboration and teamwork**: You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, so you should be able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others. • **Inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for learning**: You should be curious and passionate about understanding consumer behavior and driving business growth. • *Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: • Experience with SurveyMonkey or a similar survey software package • Past research experience, including survey design and data analysis • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI • Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior • *Education Requirements** To be eligible for this internship, you must be a current student or recent graduate (within the past six months) pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Finance, Human Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Business, or a related field. • *Additional Requirements** To be considered for this internship, you must: • Be at least 18 years old • Not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or program • Have unlimited work authorization • Be willing to adhere to The Disney Look appearance guidelines • Have a reliable, stable plan for working throughout the internship • Have solid transportation to/from work • *Program Length and Benefits** The internship is expected to run from January 2024 to June 2024. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $20 to $30 an hour.
