Entry-level AML Investigator - Financial Crimes (Hybrid)

As an Entry-Level Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigator, you will review transactions, identify suspicious activity, and ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance. Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor transactional activity to identify potential suspicious activity Verify client identities and assess their relationships with financial institutions for Know your Customer (KYC) purposes Interpret and implement client-operating policies related to financial data Identify data anomalies and red flags for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions violations, and escalate for second level review Write clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations Use basic Excel functions and technology applications (Microsoft, internet) for analysis Adhere to designated timeframes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks Submit written work product for review by internal quality control teams and make necessary adjustments based on feedback Meet production and quality standards while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and company policies, and client requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering Skills Bachelor's Degree required Must reside within 40 miles of our Phoenix office: 40 N Central Ave f22, Phoenix, AZ 85004 Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to learn quickly Analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Office tools Ability to adapt to feedback, work independently, and identify process improvements Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, filtering, sorting) and strong research skills are a plus Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Collaborative work environment with global exposure Company Overview AML RightSource is a provider of anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance services.
