Optimum Sports is the dedicated sports marketing agency within Omnicom Media Group, focusing on innovative sports marketing strategies. The Analyst role involves conducting client-specific research to enhance understanding of sports media trends and managing data to provide actionable insights. Responsibilities Identify, investigate, and visualize relevant viewership and consumption trends in the sports media marketplace Manage custom databases for general agency use Design PowerPoint decks and Word documents that convey data-driven insights supported with appropriate research Develop broad understanding of clients’ businesses and needs Proactive in identifying new projects and business opportunities with existing clients Works in direct cooperation with respective strategy and investment teams Travel is occasionally required for presentations, meetings and other client or industry events Skills Undergraduate degree required 1-3 years of experience in media or similar field High level of proficiency/interest in data cleaning, management, and analysis Experience with data common to the media/marketing industry, i.e Nielsen, survey data, etc Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal setting Expert in industry knowledge and understanding of sports marketing vernacular and trends Ability to work well under pressure and deliver assignments under deadline Ability to communicate with clients and internal strategy/investment teams effectively and intelligently Efficiency, organization, and ability to handle multiple tasks Strong interest in collegiate and professional sports Benefits Health insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Healthcare Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Vacation days Sick days Personal days Paid parental leave Paid medical leave STD/LTD insurance benefits Company Overview Optimum Sports is a sports marketing agency for sports that has expertise in branding, investments, client relationships, PR and strategy.
