FTE: .9, Shift: Days/Variable Schedule: TBD Position Summary The Virtual Telesitter is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to play a vital role in our health care team. If you are a strong communicator, enjoy collaborative work environments, and have excellent prioritization skills, this is the role for you. As a Virtual Telesitter at MultiCare you will provide first-line support for at-risk patients. You will maintain patient safety allowing the entire nursing staff to achieve the best of health care management and outcomes. Responsibilities You will provide continuous remote monitoring and observation of assigned patients Support patients with verbal redirection to avoid engaging in at-risk behaviors Partner with nursing staff in full collaboration You will utilize your independent decision-making skills within a supportive environment You will manage appropriate supplemental documentation for observation periods Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA) Current CPR certification Successful completion of monitoring equipment class within one (1) month of hire Current Basic Life Support certification Previous patient care experience preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.07 - $28.87 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
