Company Description SimWorld Sports is an innovative hands-free esport universe that offers a fully interactive media experience. We are looking for versatile Virtual Basketball Scouts to join our team and contribute to our immersive coverage of virtual basketball games and league events. Responsibilities This remote, part-time position requires someone that is detail-oriented, dedicated and willing to immerse themselves in our world. This role is elegated into two seperate avenues per the outlines below: Creates written content to support league coverage through avid storytelling in addition to providing live commentary for assigned games and being available for ocassional on air opportunities. The ability to provide visual/audible content is available as well. This role also requires that you routinely engage with the SimWorld community being an active participant in our community through Discord, helping foster world engagement throughout the week. Qualifications • A strong passion for basketball and immersive sports experiences • Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills • Ability to engage and interact with an audience while bringing a virtual world to life • Strong organizational, time management and time commitment skills • Familiarity with Discord and willingness to engage with the community throughout the week • PC setup is heavily preferred to ensure seamless contribution to commentary and content creation • Experience in esports, journalism or sports commentary is a plus but not required If you’re ready to help SimWorld Sports deliver unforgettable moments and elevate our virtual basketball universe, we’d love to hear from you!
