Job Summary Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: • Perform Damage Tolerance analysis for wing and fuselage Primary Structural Elements. • Prepare detailed analysis report with Damage tolerance analysis. • Perform validation of Damage Tolerance Analysis methodology using test data. • Interact with M&P and Design team to study inspection limitations. • Evaluate the PSEs for any access related or other inspection limitations. • Prepare/update DFEM and GFEM to arrive at acceptable stress equation. • Review Damage Tolerance Analysis and reports. • Interact with DAD (Design Authority Designee) to improve the existing maintenance task and approval of analysis/report. Domain Skills: • Sound knowledge of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis principles (FAR Part 25 in general and CFR/AC 25.571). Prior experience in Bombardier Damage Tolerance analysis methods is preferred. • Good knowledge on general airframe stress analysis (Primary structures) and FEM concepts. • Good knowledge on inspection tasks and NDT procedure. • Good knowledge on test correlation and DTA analysis validation. • Experience in analysis documentation and prior experience in review of DTA analysis.
