Key Responsibilities • Design and deploy system infrastructure (servers, OS, storage, virtualization) • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Linux/Windows) • Monitor system performance, uptime, and security • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues • Automate tasks using scripts (Shell, PowerShell, Python) • Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system updates • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) • Ensure compliance with security and IT policies • Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and IT support teams Required Skills Technical Skills • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows Server • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls • Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes • Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python • Monitoring Tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana • Security Basics: Patch management, access control, system hardening Soft Skills • Problem-solving & analytical thinking • Communication & teamwork • Time management • Documentation skills Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering • Relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory): • Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE) • AWS/Azure certifications • CompTIA Linux+, Network+ Apply tot his job
