Supplier Quality Engineer (Seattle, WA) Location: Seattle, Washington Type: Full-Time | Hybrid | 50%+ Travel Support U.S. Manufacturing. Build the Future Fictiv is looking for a hands-on Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) based in the Seattle area to help expand and elevate our U.S. manufacturing partner network. You'll act as the key liaison between Fictiv and our manufacturing partners—ensuring quality, consistency, and customer confidence. PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically looking for candidates who reside in the Seattle, Washington area for this role. What You’ll Do Support + Improve Partners : Evaluate new suppliers, develop current partners using our maturity model and scorecards, and help implement effective control plans. Resolve and Prevent Issues : Lead root cause investigations and coach partners through corrective actions that stick. Quality Systems Innovation : Work cross-functionally to improve our QMS and help customers see the value we bring to part manufacturing. Travel and Audit : Regularly visit suppliers across the U.S. and support remote audits when offsite. What You Bring 5+ years in a supplier-facing quality engineering role—especially in mechanical hardware or components Ability to influence suppliers with a balance of relationship-building and accountability Process-minded, results-driven, and confident making decisions with limited data Strong communicator, experienced in working remotely and on-site Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 , and structured quality processes Travel Travel required more than 50% of the time—this is a very hands-on field role.
