Sr. Manager, Learning Design & Development - Leadership

About the position Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive leadership and team development programs tailored to various brands and management levels. • Lead instructional designers and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the creation of high-quality learning materials. • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning objectives, define output milestones, budget requirements, and timelines for successful project implementation. • Collaborate with the Performance Advisor to plan and prioritize annual learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively launch and promote leadership development programs. • Implement a variety of delivery modalities, such as VILT, social and experiential learning techniques, and digital platforms. • Create a work environment that encourages accountability, high standards, and innovation. • Provide direction and assistance to other functional areas to ensure efficient resource use and facilitate collaboration. • Continuously research and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in leadership development. Requirements • 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality, Education, or related major. • 5 years of related work experience in the leadership development and learning discipline. • Experience consulting to business leaders, providing training design and development across multiple mediums. Nice-to-haves • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or related Education field. • Hospitality/Lodging industry and Marketing expertise preferred. • General knowledge of brands, hotel operations, continent and headquarters environments.
