Job Summary and Responsibilities Job Summary / PurposeThe Senior Compensation Analyst supports CommonSpirit Health compensation programs from plan design through implementation and ongoing administration. The Sr. Analyst applies solid knowledge of compensation (base and variable pay) and data to provide analytical insight to inform compensation-related decisions and programs. They provide analytical support, ongoing research, modeling and compensation analysis for base pay and incentive programs. The Sr. Analyst evaluates jobs, completes market pricing, determines pay grades, completes compensation surveys, and performs associated analysis by applying standard job evaluation methodologies. They ensure compensation related programs and practices are competitive and equitable and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Sr. Analyst is a trusted advisor who consults with leaders on compensation issues and mentors and guides compensation analysts and specialists. The Sr. Analyst may be assigned as the point of contact for smaller markets or service lines. Essential Function • Supports the planning, development and implementation of new and revised CSH compensation programs to meet the organization's goals and competitive practices. Provides analytic support for CSH compensation program management and implementation, including but not limited to: base pay administration, annual salary increase processes, variable pay program administration, special pay practices and ad-hoc compensation projects. Facilitates the delivery, education and communication of compensation programs. • Participates and/or completes salary surveys, analyzes salary survey results, and assists with the design or revision of salary structures. Reviews and consults with human resources or managers on new or revised jobs, conducts job evaluations, determines FLSA status, and provides salary recommendations to ensure internal equity and market alignment. • Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports regarding market compensation data, special pay practices and internal company compensation information. Participates in special projects as assigned, including executive compensation analysis, labor negotiations support and merger and acquisition activities. • Partners with HR COE’s, HR Technology and other CSH colleagues to ensure continuous improvement of processes and technology in support of compensation programs. Identifies issues and concerns and offers options of potential solutions for problem solving. Ensures accuracy of compensation-related data that is maintained within company information systems and databases.
