SMB Account Executive (SF)

Hex is a growing company that has built a strong Sales team since August 2021 and is seeking an Account Executive for its SMB/Mid-Market Sales organization. The role focuses on closing new business and expanding existing customer relationships within companies of up to 250 employees. Responsibilities Responsible for building new pipeline and driving revenue within your assigned territory Deeply understand your customers' business challenges and how to position Hex as the solution Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery and demos Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals Provide input back to engineering, product management and marketing Create and deliver accurate forecasts Skills Have 1+ year of experience in a full cycle SaaS sales role and a track record of achieving targets in a lead-generation role in technical software in the data, DS/ML, or analytics space Understand and be able to teach complex technical concepts Can speak confidently about the challenges data practitioners encounter in their day-to-day workflows Passionate / curious about the data & analytics space Capable of managing a large pipeline of high-velocity opportunities Capable / willing to learn basic SQL (if you haven't already) Possess an enthusiasm for working as part of a team and an ability to partner successfully with cross-functional peers such as product, engineering, customer success, etc Be comfortable in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment Love giving and receiving feedback Benefits Market-benched salary & equity Comprehensive health benefits Flexible paid time off Company Overview Hex is changing how people use data by building a collaborative, shareable analytics workspace.
