Senior Director, Product Management – Cloud Kafka
Job Description: • Lead Cloud Kafka product management team and report to the VP of Product • Grow Confluent Cloud and align the Cloud Kafka roadmap with strategic company goals • Lead creation and productization of next-generation Kora capabilities for Confluent Cloud Kafka • Work closely with customers and the field to inform Cloud’s strategy and roadmap • Coach and develop the Cloud Kafka product management team to enable career growth and high performance • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize customer needs and take new Cloud features and capabilities to market Requirements: • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B and with developer-focused products • 6+ years of leadership experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • Experience building and growing infrastructure cloud services (preferred) • Experience with cloud-native streaming engines (Kora) and Kafka (preferred) • Ability to work closely with customers, field teams, and engineering • May require legal authorization to work in the United States (application asks about work authorization and sponsorship) Benefits: • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus • Competitive pay and benefits in line with industry standards • Wide range of employee benefits (see • Remote work (Remote, United States) Apply tot his job
