Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will manage a geographic territory, providing solutions to customers while establishing and maintaining relationships with them and suppliers to grow sales. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites, typically within your territory, to evaluate application details and work with suppliers to provide solutions Onsite and in-office customer application consulting Manage the pre-sale and post-sale technical support needs of the customer Develop the skills of cold calling, lead follow-up, performing on site product marketing, training, and involving suppliers when necessary Create quotes in accordance with Olympus standards Out of region travel required for training - up to 10 weeks in the first year depending on existing knowledge and up to 1 week a year there after Skills Mechanical, Electrical, Software and/or Mechatronics Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a technical field Limited knowledge of Olympus products or functionally equivalent competitor products Benefits Base salary + bonus eligibility Medical, vision, and dental insurance 401(k) with employer match Employee assistance program (EAP) Vacation and sick time Professional development, training, and tuition reimbursement Company Overview What We Offer: Olympus Controls is an Engineering Services company that specializes in Machine Automation.
