They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to engage potential customers, qualify leads, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance lead generation efforts. Responsibilities Identify, research, and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting (primarily by email & phone) Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for our Account Executives Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve lead generation efforts Focus on the value that Monotype brings to an organization by understanding the pain points that prospective customers are currently experiencing Pass qualified opportunities to Americas new business Sales team, based on established rules of engagement Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our CRM system Learn the ins and outs of our products and the creative SaaS space to confidently speak with prospects Continuously improve by testing outreach strategies, sharing feedback, and participating in team training sessions Skills 6+ months in a customer-facing or service role (retail, hospitality, support, etc.) Proactive mindset Curious and not afraid to take initiative Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable talking to anyone Thoughtful approach to situations Ability to make smart decisions and follow through Excited to build a career in sales Open to learning fast in a collaborative, creative environment Comfortable using CRM tools, email, and modern workplace software Sales experience Benefits Extensive development and training offerings.
