[Remote] Sr. Java Developer - Life Sciences Industry
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Astrix is seeking Senior Java Developers to work on innovative cancer diagnostics and personalized genetic treatments. The role involves customizing laboratory testing processes and providing support for a top-tier Clinical Diagnostic company. Responsibilities • Use Java to customize new processes and methods for laboratory testing, documentation, and data analysis for a heavily customized implementation project (base system is LabVantage LIMS - knowledge of this system is not a requirement, but a nice to have) • New feature development/improvements/enhancements • Assay Changes • Assay Development (new) • Reports • Integrations to other systems/instruments • Provide Tier 2-3 support to internal teams Skills • 5-10 years of Java coding experience at Senior or Principal level • Must have great communication and collaboration skills • Go-getter mentality • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) is a big plus, especially LabVantage • Knowledge of LabVantage LIMS is not a requirement, but a nice to have Company Overview • Astrix is the unrivaled market-leader in creating & delivering innovative strategies, solutions, and people to the life science community.
