Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) seeking to expand its Business Development team. The role involves creating interest in Aleph's software and engaging prospects through various outreach methods to convert them into qualified sales opportunities. Responsibilities Build lists of companies and contacts that fit the profile of potential buyers for Aleph, including executive-level decision-makers Perform a large volume of outbound calls to them to assess their needs and schedule follow-up meetings In parallel, craft personalized, targeted messages over email and other channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit) to pique their interest Maintain a consistent and organized outreach schedule to ensure a steady flow of new leads High-performing BDRs at Aleph have a clearly defined Path to AE, and we invest heavily in coaching, mentorship, and skill development to support that progression Continuously iterate and improve our outreach strategies and processes Collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams and have broad exposure to all our go-to-market motions Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospect organizations Provide feedback on the effectiveness of outreach methods and suggest improvements based on prospect responses and market dynamics Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs Act as a liaison between prospects and the sales team, facilitating a smooth buyer journey all the way to closed-won Have flexibility to explore new tools, new techniques and new strategies Skills 1 to 2 years of sales or business development experience Strong communication skills over both phone and email A love for picking up the phone Diligence and strong attention to detail Fondness for data and leveraging technology to be more efficient Ownership mentality and excitement to take on responsibility Excellence at building personal connections and fostering collaboration Desire to put in the effort that takes to move up within a fast growing startup in a competitive market Company Overview Aleph is a financial software company that provides AI-native financial planning and analysis tools and data management infrastructure.
