[Remote] Business Development Manager (Barber Industry)

Panasonic North America is dedicated to improving lives through innovation and is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Barber Industry. The role involves managing sales channels, overseeing marketing initiatives, and coordinating events to enhance market penetration and drive sales. Responsibilities • Manage all D2C and distributor sales channels relationships. • Track sales data, prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and manage sales forecast accuracy. • Identify and onboard new regional distributors and partners to expand market penetration. • Support social media and ambassador programs, oversee product seeding to influencers and barbers, assist with content creation, campaign planning, and ad performance reporting. • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of all trade shows and barber events. • Manage booth setup, branded assets, and post-event lead follow-up to convert opportunities into sales • Oversee after-sales coordination, warranty processes, sample inventory, and logistics. Handle contracts, invoices, and ensure smooth operational flow between sales, marketing, and distributors. • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis, pricing studies, and collect feedback from barbers to inform product development and marketing strategy. • Collaborate with product and marketing teams on launch plans, positioning, and pricing strategies to maximize sell-through. • Develop business cases for new opportunities. • Monitor program spend (events, influencers, POS assets) to ensure ROI, and present results to leadership with recommendations for continuous improvement.
