Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Mutual Group is seeking an Associate Actuarial Analyst to support their loss ratio forecasting processes. The role involves developing and maintaining actuarial models, analyzing data for trends, and preparing reports for stakeholders. Responsibilities Completes profitability analyses to support and analyze a specific business segment’s strategy Provides support for determining pricing strategy through actionable insights and analytics Collaborates with business partners and subject matter experts to provide actuarial input as needed Stays up to date on industry trends and builds actuarial expertise Skills Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent actuarial experience required Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam (preferably Exam P/1 and/or Exam FM/2) is required Knowledge of Microsoft Excel required Extensive knowledge of mathematical concepts Expected to continue to pursue CAS credentials Strong organization and time management skills Position requires employee to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment Employee will be required to communicate verbally and electronically All other duties as assigned Experience with R, SQL or other querying or programming languages preferred Prior internship or work experience in property and casualty insurance industry preferred Benefits Competitive base salary plus incentive plans for eligible team members 401(K) retirement plan that includes a company match of up to 6% of your eligible salary Free basic life and AD&D, long-term disability and short-term disability insurance Medical, dental and vision plans to meet your unique healthcare needs Wellness incentives Generous time off program that includes personal, holiday and volunteer paid time off Flexible work schedules and hybrid/remote options for eligible positions Educational assistance Company Overview The Mutual Group is an an integrated insurance operations platform serving the mutual industry.
