Key Responsibilities: Conduct analysis of regulatory technical standards, craft SOPs according to regulatory requisites, and collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders. Offer guidance, impartial evaluations, and raise concerns to ensure effective identification, assessment, and management of operational risks across routine operations and new projects, products, or processes. Independently assess and monitor daily operations in adherence to regulated entity guidelines, analyzing for potential systemic or thematic risks necessitating senior management escalation. Monitor routine operational processes, validate outcomes, and continuously enhance operational procedures. Regularly audit operational outcomes, processes, and public data to pinpoint potential compliance and regulatory risks. Liaise with various teams to prepare routine and spontaneous notifications to regulators and uphold accurate records of pivotal operational decisions and outcomes. Key Requirements: Over 5 years of experience in financial institutions, operations, or projects encompassing knowledge of financial processes and products. Proficient knowledge of regulated derivatives exchanges and clearinghouses. Aptitude and experience in risk, regulatory compliance, or control-related roles. Passionate about operational and risk management topics. Open to change, dedicated to seeking improved approaches, challenging the status quo. Self-motivated, adept at balancing creative and practical methodologies. Strong communication and facilitation skills, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels. Excellent written English skills for preparing formal reports for regulators and senior management. Strong problem-solving abilities, with an inclination towards using data for issue resolution.
