QA Lead (Full-time or Contract), ABOUT US Mountaintop is a new game studio creating multiplayer games for players that crave a challenge. We’re an independent, remote-first studio primarily located in the US. THE ROLE We’re Looking for a QA Lead who’s passionate about delivering a high quality player experience. You’ll play a crucial role in bringing our first title to life. YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Directing test assignments between internal and external QA teams Defining test cases and reporting for all features Managing bug tracking system, workflow, and regression Collaborating with feature owners to assess development plans and identify test coverage requirements Investigating, analyzing, and reporting bug trends and quality metrics Providing regular reports/updates on game quality to the studio Helping establish QA best practices that ensure high quality results Consistently improving processes and procedures to boost test efficiency where possible Contributing to concept, direction, and gameplay for all Mountaintop projects Creating a team culture that prides itself on excellence, innovation, trust, and respect ABOUT YOU A love for playing and making amazing games Experience shipping PC and/or console titles Experience working with external QA teams Experience working on first-person or third-person shooters Self-motivated and eager to contribute to many different areas of development Excellent verbal and written communication skills Problem-solver who can simplify and resolve issues quickly Capacity to build and implement innovative testing procedures and materials Demonstrated success driving test results and improving game quality PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with Unreal Engine Experience working on networked multiplayer games Experience work on games-as-a-service titles Experience with Localization testing Experience with PC compatibility testing Experience with major console certifications and submissions Experience with UR / UX testing PERKS Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance (100% of premiums paid) 401k plan Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Unlimited PTO Remote-work Friendly Apply For This Job Apply tot his job
