Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Python Developer – Game Tools & Content Systems to support our client's LightSpeed Studios team. This is a W-2 full-time contract based in Santa Clara, CA with remote work options. We offer competitive pay $65/hr - $90/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture! At NVIDIA Lightspeed Studios we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and are seeking a skilled Python Programmer to join our team. If you're enthusiastic about Python, building robust applications, and have experience in games and/or content pipeline tools/systems, we want to hear from you! Some existing projects we're actively working on: • RTX Remix: • RacerX: • Avatar Cloud Engine for Games: What you'll be doing: • Develop and maintain Python applications, pipelines, and tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft and implement software solutions. • Work with Pixar USD and NVIDIA Omniverse. • Use version control systems like Git, participate in code reviews, and support continuous integration processes and testing. • Collaborate on Linux and Windows environments. What we need to see : • Strong proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of Python design patterns and architecture. • Experience developing modularized applications in Python. • Familiarity with asynchronous Python callbacks using Futures/asyncio. • Proficiency in live Python debugging and performance profiling. • Experience with 2D/3D content pipelines for games is a must. • Knowledge of game engine development is preferred. • Previous experience building user interfaces with PySide, PyQt, or similar. • Prior exposure to Pixar USD and APIs of Digital Content Creation software is a plus.
