Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will manage project submittals, assist in contract drafting, and support both field and office teams while ensuring project schedules and deliverables are met. Responsibilities Manage all project submittals and ensure timely approvals Record and distribute meeting minutes for internal and external project meetings Split time between the office and the project site, supporting both field and office teams Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts Prepare and edit subcontract Exhibit (Scope) pages, including contract amounts for each trade Create and update scope of work sheets for subcontractors and vendors Collaborate with estimators during preconstruction and throughout the project to ensure scopes and pricing align with project requirements Help identify and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring scopes and expectations are clearly defined Develop and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project Follow up on project deliverables and outstanding action items Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination Perform site inspections alongside the Superintendent to verify quality, safety, and schedule compliance Receive cross-training in Orlando to gain exposure to multiple aspects of project management and field operations Skills 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction or a related field Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, contracts, and scopes of work Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both in the office and on active construction sites Effective communication skills with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients Proficiency in construction software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility in both project management and field operations Benefits Competitive pay A clear path for career advancement Company Overview Construction Recruiting It was founded in 2016, and is headquartered in Orlando, FL, US, with a workforce of 2-10 employees.
