(Quarterly profit sharing)Job Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment or machine.Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs.Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.Lift and stack products.Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned area.Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.Education and Experience Requirements:No high school diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of work experience required; prior manufacturing experience and/or quality inspection experience preferred. Must be willing to train and advance to Extruder A (quality inspecting responsibilities); training provided.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.Must be able to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.Must follow all work and safety instructions.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow.Ability to follow detailed directions.Preferred Skills/Qualifications:No prior work-related experience required; manufacturing or mobile equipment operation (e.g., forklift, Combi) experience is helpful.Must be able to use a calculator and read a tape measure.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Hydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
