Principal Consultant, Data Visualization

Lovelytics is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Consultant (Principal Consultant) with experience delivering Power BI and Tableau client engagements. This Principal Consultant will play a key role in delivering on client engagements related to semantic reporting, dashboarding, and overall analytics output. In this role you'll partner with Lovelytics' innovative clients to understand requirements, and utilize tools such has Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI, to deliver outstanding solutions. In addition to the technical capabilities for this role, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment and has a passion for bringing meaning to data. This role is not open for work sponsorship at this time. Primary Responsibilities: • Utilize consulting and technical skills to be able to work in a client-facing project environment independently. • Collaborate with other team members to successfully deliver on projects. • Work effectively and directly communicate with both internal and client and/or partner teams. • Develop full ownership of your execution on client engagements, you'll become involved in the project planning and solution stages of engagements as well. • Edit, write, and troubleshoot multi-layered and challenging data calculations • Create accurate and advanced analytics dashboards that meet the requirements of clients that maintain logic and integrity • Develop wireframes and/or mockups for use cases using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, etc • Implement data governance practices, resulting in improved data quality. • Analyze data trends and contribute to data transformation preparation. • Work with engagement leads and directors to gain exposure in the design and architecture of solutions Our Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experiences: • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent • 4-6 years' experience in a BI/Analytics role.
