Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Looking for a part time Registered Dental Hygienist, 8 total hours per week Job Summary Join our growing dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. You will utilize your expertise in dental hygiene to traditional Dental Hygienist responsibilities. Your contributions will help us maintain a high standard of dental excellence and foster lasting relationships with our patients. What you’ll do • Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive treatments while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. • Perform non-surgical periodontal surgery, ie scaling and root planing. • Utilize dental software Open Dental for documentation and patient management. • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, general dentistry, and the importance of regular dental visits. • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Collaborate closely with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including medical imaging and documentation of findings. • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and vital signs, to tailor individualized care plans. • Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding to enhance service delivery. Basic qualifications • Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
