Ophthalmology/Optometry Medical Coder – Hybrid Position
Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MBBS or Ophthalmology/Optometry Medical Coder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in ophthalmology or optometry coding, with a strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes specific to eye care. This position will start as hybrid (based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, working EST time zone hours) and may transition to fully remote after successful onboarding and performance evaluation. Responsibilities: Review and accurately code ophthalmology and optometry encounters following the latest CPT and ICD-10 guidelines. Ensure compliance with payer-specific and federal regulations. Support billing and claim submission processes when needed. Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of ophthalmology or optometry medical coding experience. Proficient knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Strong attention to detail and documentation review skills. Comfortable working during EST business hours. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Rawalpindi/Islamabad) during the initial training period. Transition to remote after performance review.
