Job Description Medable is seeking an analytical and insightful Marketing Operations Director who will focus primarily on building and managing Medable’s marketing technology stack including the budgeting and the contract negotiations for all marketing systems and tools. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for setting up, standardizing, and leading the processes, dashboards and knowledge-transfer activities that will enable Medable to have an insight-driven and efficiency-driven Marketing function in place. They will also be a crucial component in all Marketing reporting and attribution mechanisms. The Marketing Operations Director will be highly experienced in Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Analytics and ABM platforms with expertise in segmenting target prospects and customer databases to ensure Medable communications are sent to the right person at the right time. The Director will also be experienced with building reports and dashboards for marketing campaign reporting to create visibility to the broader Medable organization. This role will oversee the campaign automation process including campaign creation, nurturing, lead scoring, and distribution. Our marketing team will rely on the candidate’s knowledge and experience in automating processes to maximize effectiveness of their campaigns/programs/tactics. Delivering key insights and recommendations that optimize the performance of marketing programs, and providing overall analysis of campaign performance will also be required. It will also be important for the director to utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across Medable’s global channels and customer touch points, find risks and opportunities. This role will partner with global and regional stakeholders to build a marketing operations center of excellence providing the technology, the processes, and the best practices to optimize marketing campaign performance. The Marketing Operations Director will also work closely with sales, sales operations, and digital in a fast-paced and rapidly growing market. Sensitivity to global/local requirements and perspectives along with transparency are critical success factors for this role. Responsibilities • Manages the marketing database and the synchronization to Salesforce. • Demonstrates success as a HubSpot and Salesforce technical “power user” for the rest of the organization is a must. • A marketing reporting expert. Can build the systems and mechanisms to lead this effort. • Works as a member of the global operations organization to ensure marketing processes are fully adopted and that our automation systems integrate and synchronize with our CRM systems. • An expert in Digital Marketing fundamentals (channels, tracking, conversation, personalization) SEO and SEM strategies, and paid search/advertising • Synthesizes data to continually monitor, analyze, and adjust campaigns to maximize ROI. • Interprets analyses on campaign performance to drive recommendations for ongoing improvements. • Owns the development, training, and support of marketing automation best practices. • Manages globally defined campaign services such as nurture program build, campaign deployment, and data segmentation while working closely with customer and product marketing resources. • Builds consensus on service level agreements (SLAs) to support agile campaign deployment. • Documents operations processes and ensure all training documentation is recent and relevant. • Oversee the website strategy and execution. • Maintain website pages relying on core team / SMEs and cadence / process to be put in place to ensure that the website is source of inbound leads and SEO optimized. • Manage reporting of Social and Digital metrics. • Support with Marketing planning and board meetings preparation. • Manage the marketing function all-in budget. • Work cross functionally across the marketing and sales organizations. • Uses a continuous approach to building and maintaining the marketing technology stack. • All about tracking, reporting and measuring marketing performance, driving corrective actions when needed and proactively providing valuable insights to lead in our marketplace. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in Operation, supporting global campaign deployment and optimization using latest marketing techniques and technology • Salesforce and HubSpot (or equivalent) proven working expertise/certification required • Strong understanding of marketing processes including campaign planning, execution, A/B testing, propensity to buy, and conversion metrics • Ability to build relationships working in a cross functional global environment • Demonstrates analytical capabilities by translating marketing data into insights through storytelling that drive impactful and measurable change. • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills required • Hands-on, strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent oral and written English communication skills • Ability to own and deliver on multiple strategic projects under aggressive timelines • Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and drive to a business-oriented outcome • Bachelor's degree required #LI-REMOTE #LI-AK1 Additional Information Preferred Qualifications • Advanced technical skills in HTML coding, CSS, Java Script • Digital marketing expertise: web tracking, Google Analytics • Vendor management experience • Life sciences industry and/or software industry experience is a plus • Expert knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce advanced user, ABM platforms (6Sense, Terminus or DemandBase) Medable, Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
