Marketing Analyst - Data & Reporting Team

Job Purpose / Key Objectives of the Role This role is positioned within the Global Circulation Data & Reporting team and plays a critical part in empowering the marketing function with accurate, timely, and actionable insights. By independently managing ad‑hoc reporting needs and supporting more complex analytical projects, the role strengthens data‑driven decision‑making across marketing. Through rigorous analysis, intuitive reporting, and strong stakeholder partnership, the role contributes to improved campaign performance, sustainable growth, and alignment with broader business objectives. Key Accountabilities Detailed responsibilities include: • Analyze marketing performance data to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities that support strategy development and campaign optimization. • Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and recurring reports, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility for stakeholders. • Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies while contributing to improvements in overall data quality and integrity. • Manage stakeholder requests by delivering accurate data extracts, custom reports, and clear, concise explanations to support decision-making. • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to ensure insights are well understood and appropriately applied, providing guidance when needed. • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting processes, recommending enhancements to boost efficiency. • Assist in the development of new dashboards, visualizations, and analytical outputs in response to evolving business needs. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, updates, and workflow changes to ensure consistency and knowledge continuity. • Execute ad‑hoc analytical projects with precision, applying strong technical and critical‑thinking skills to add value across teams. • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the dynamic needs of the business. Skills, Qualifications & Experience • Prior experience in an insights or analytics role, applying data tools to solve practical business challenges. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including lookups, INDEX/MATCH, UNIQUE, and strong command of pivot tables and formula‑based analysis. • Intermediate expertise in SQL and Power Query, with hands‑on experience using DAX and M language for data transformation. • Strong capability in BI tools—especially Power BI—for developing new reports, building queries, and resolving issues in existing dashboards. • Comfortable working with diverse data sources and tools, following requirements, and producing high‑quality analytical outputs. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to quickly interpret data, identify key themes, and apply logical reasoning. • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with accuracy and strong organizational discipline to meet deadlines and deliver results. • High attention to detail with a growing capability to identify and correct data inconsistencies. • Technologically adept, with the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, IT, and analytics stakeholders. • Fast learner who can adapt to new tools and technologies and apply them creatively to enhance reporting and analysis. • Solid understanding of business operations and the crucial role of reporting in driving operational and strategic decision-making.
