Full-Time | Leadership Role | High-Impact Logistics Are you a logistics professional ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? At World Kinect Corporation, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator III to drive operational excellence, lead a team, and ensure the seamless delivery of fuel across our network. This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, optimizing systems, and leading people. You’ll be at the center of our logistics operations—collaborating with terminal managers, carrier partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results. What You’ll Do • Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor logistics staff, ensuring high performance and a collaborative team culture. • Solve Problems Fast: Tackle transportation, system, and customer issues with confidence and speed. • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage driver scheduling, truck coordination, and customer demand fulfillment with precision. • Maximize Efficiency: Partner with terminals and supply teams to streamline operations and boost profitability. • Own the Numbers: Take charge of P&L for each truck and delivery—your decisions will directly impact the bottom line. • Ensure Compliance: Monitor and enforce DOT, OSHA, and hazardous materials regulations. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with analytics, safety, fleet, and sales teams to align goals and improve outcomes. • Innovate & Improve: Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology integration to enhance logistics performance. Key Success Metrics • On-time delivery and service recovery rates • Cost-per-delivery and route optimization • Driver performance and overtime control • Regulatory compliance and safety adherence • Customer satisfaction and retention What You Bring • Experience: Prior experience as a petroleum dispatcher is required; strong background in DOT and hazardous materials handling. • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus). • Tech Savvy: Proficient in logistics software and digital tools. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance. • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Communication: Clear, confident communicator across all levels of the organization. • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of fuel logistics, transportation regulations, and safety protocols.
