Junior Art Director - Remote - Full Time

Job Description As the Junior (Jr.) Art Director, you’ll be responsible for assisting the organization with the necessary and required creative solutions that exist across a variety of channels being leveraged by the internal marketing team. The focus of the Jr. Art Director is the development of creative assets as it pertains to ongoing campaigns, new concepts, and upcoming company initiatives, both internal and client facing. Duties: Work closely and integrate with the corporate marketing team and partners (external & internal) to develop new creative concepts and assets for Intevity’s content machine. The organization relies on a variety of marketing channels such as email, podcasts, blogs, and social media to raise awareness, as well as the development of a client lead funnel through marketing efforts. These efforts may entail creative assets such as infographics, social media content, creative ideation, sales material, deck presentations, and more. As a creative resource, the Jr. Art Director must have creative ideation leadership and exemplify a “can do” attitude that goes above and beyond. The role is multifaceted and requires a variety of skillsets on a day-to-day basis. The Jr. Art Director must be self-sufficient and be able to manage their own workload to stay on schedule for t. This position reports directly into the Marketing Manager and is a remote position, preferably East Coast EST time zone, with possible requirements for business travel. Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree required, plus outstanding online portfolio that demonstrates understanding UX/UI best practices and how to interpret those concepts for the digital space ● Minimum[1] [2] 3+ years at a design studio or advertising agency with digital experience required, preferably with a background in the agency world with an emphasis on B2B ● Extensive experience and skill in graphic design that enables the development of creative assets for use in social media, blog posts, and supporting sales material ● Proficiency & confidence in HTML and CSS, Adobe CC, especially Adobe XD, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop; other web design applications such as Figma a plus but not mandatory ● Proven experience creating and preparing digital files for programming ● Comfortable working within platform specifications and maximizing them to get the best creative product ● An understanding and general knowledge of different types of creative media (illustration, animation, photo editing, etc.) and the ability to work in various styles ● Email marketing and HTML experience is a plus ● A thorough understanding of the social media space and creative concepts focused in this area Preferred Experience: ● Works independently and has excellent communication skills ● Ability to design, develop, and execute creative campaigns that require asset development from scratch ● Comfortable utilizing corporate communications platforms such as Monday, Slack, and others ● Experience with Hubspot or other CRM platforms is a plus Additional Information Intevity offers a competitive and comprehensive employee compensation and benefits package that includes base salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, long and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, 401k program with company match, and an open PTO plan.
