International Supply Chain/Product Sourcing & Logistics Coordinator, Administrative Tasks - Contract to Hire

Overview Custom Home/Hotel Interiors is hiring a sharp, detail-driven Operations & Supply Chain Coordinator to lead logistics workflows, manage international vendor sourcing (especially in China), and support administrative operations for our fast-growing custom furnishing and modular housing divisions. This is a high-responsibility role that bridges global logistics, product sourcing, and back-office execution. Ideal for someone fluent in both systems and scrappy execution. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain & Vendor Management Source and vet new product vendors (with a focus on China-based factories) Ex: Alibaba Build relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time production and accurate documentation Review product specs, factory sheets, and production timelines Coordinate purchase orders, invoices, and product customization details Logistics Coordination Oversee international shipping, customs clearance, and domestic delivery Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, and project site managers Track all shipments end-to-end and ensure smooth last-mile delivery Operations & Admin Support Maintain procurement logs, delivery schedules, and permit/inspection documentation Build SOPs and manage digital systems (Excel, Airtable, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.) Support project tracking and internal team coordination across time zones Ideal Candidate 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or vendor management (China sourcing a plus) Strong attention to detail with a “no ball drops” mindset Experience with international freight and customs workflows Strong command of digital tools and systems (especially spreadsheets and project trackers) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Nice-to-Have Experience in custom interiors, modular homes, or construction Background in logistics or interior furnishing Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Spanish Based in South Florida or open to occasional travel Compensation Overseas hires only: $5-8/hr (USD) Bonus opportunities for on-time project deliveries and supplier milestones Growth path Apply tot his job
