Information Security Engineer – Remote Opportunity!
Job Title: Information Security Engineer Location: Remote Salary: $110K – $125K Term: Fulltime, Permanent Open to US Citizen and Green Card holders only. Overview: Seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to enhance and secure cloud-based services, applications, and infrastructure. This role involves conducting security assessments, automating threat detection, managing compliance, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve security practices. Key Responsibilities: · Implement and maintain cloud security controls and best practices. · Will be working and supporting the DevOps team to deploy security automation and secure the cloud. · Keep data and information safe and secure. · Collaborate with different departments across the business. · Managing vendor management partnerships. · Create and deliver security training; report and escalate incidents as needed. Qualifications: · 3-5 years of experience in Information Security or Compliance. · Must have Compliance or Security Information certificate. · Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S), cloud security, and risk management. · Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
