Role Description The Nurse Supervisor is a key member of the Clinical Nursing Team, dedicated to delivering world-class telehealth services in a fast-paced online environment. This role most closely correlates to that of a supervisor in a busy urgent care or primary care practice. • Oversee daily team operations • Provide clinical guidance • Support staff development • Assist MD Live Providers and clinical operations • Contribute to onboarding, training, and team data analytics • Directly supervise a pod of nursing and support staff • Work schedules may consist of either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts • Rotating weekend and holiday rotations • Reports to a Nurse Manager Qualifications • Registered Nurse (RN) Compact license required at hire with the ability to obtain licensure in all 50 states and territories serviced by MD Live • Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a telehealth or virtual care setting preferred • Prior experience as charge nurse, team lead, or supervisor Requirements • Empathy & Teamwork: Demonstrates compassion, collaboration, and critical thinking in all interactions • Communication: Effectively de-escalates situations and communicates clearly by phone and email • Multitasking: Manages multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Adaptability: Accepts feedback and implements it to drive continuous improvement • Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Outlook; knowledge of medical terminology • Clinical Knowledge: Understanding of care coordination, urgent care, telehealth, primary care, and emergency department settings • Interpersonal Skills: Navigates cultural, ethical, economic, and access considerations when interacting with patients • Health Information Systems: Familiarity with electronic medical records and e-prescribing platforms Benefits • Comprehensive health-related benefits including medical, vision, dental, and well-being and behavioral health programs • 401(k) • Company paid life insurance • Tuition reimbursement • A minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year and paid holidays Work Environment • Work is performed in a quiet, HIPAA-compliant, at-home office environment • Position Location: Remote Security Roles and Responsibilities • MD Live employees may have access to Protected Health Information and/or Personally Identifiable Information that is subject to privacy regulations by state and federal statutes • All employees must comply with all applicable regulations and all MD Live policies and procedures for the security and privacy of such information EEO Statement MD LIVE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
