flex Program Specialist, GXP

This is a temporary position. This position is responsible for all GXP support, managing inventory, coordinating room assignments, and ensuring optimal operations across assigned properties. The GXP Agent works closely with on-property teams to uphold service standards, streamline communication, and maximize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Manage room inventory and execute daily room assignments for designated properties • Coordinate closely with front office, housekeeping, and sales departments to ensure accurate room blocking and guest accommodation • Monitor special requests, VIP arrivals, and group room blocks to ensure proper execution • Analyze occupancy trends and adjust room assignments to support operational goals • Maintain consistent communication with on-property teams and APRC leadership • Accurately document daily activity and deliverables in internal systems • Identify and escalate operational issues and opportunities for improvement • Other responsibilities as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field required • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a business-related role (e.g., hotel operations, inventory management, business analytics, or customer service) • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity • Flexibility to support weekend and holiday coverage as needed At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
