Key Responsibilities Lead complex projects with significant impact, acting as a key player in large-scale software programs planning for the Technology area Design, develop, and run tooling to identify issues in data and systems, documenting problems to engineering and product leadership Review and analyze complex software enhancement projects for business, operational, or technical improvements, requiring extensive assessment of multiple elements, including intangibles or unusual factors Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations, requiring knowledge of software package options and programming language, and compliance requirements that affect and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change Strategically collaborate and communicate with internal partners to solve highly volatile data engineering challenges Essential Qualifications 3+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent proven through one or a combination of the following: work experience, education, military experience, training 2+ years of Programming language: Spark, Python, or PySpark Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of Information Security domains, including DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management Experience implementing and supporting complex Airflow DAGs Experience with various data formats, including YAML, JSON, Parquet, and XML Experience working directly with data security datasets, metrics, and reporting On-premise Hadoop distributions (Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR) and public cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) experience Strong knowledge of cluster technology and clustered services Skill and Competency Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
