Job Overview We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Campbellton, TX. As an RBT, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children on the autism spectrum, implementing ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA/RBT Experience If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Ability to lift up to 35lbs Ability to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Key Autism Services, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
