Job Summary The In-House Healthcare Paralegal will provide critical support to the legal team in healthcare regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal research. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of in-house healthcare experience, demonstrating expertise in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal research. A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare sector's legal and regulatory frameworks is essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide support in healthcare regulatory compliance, ensuring the company's operations align with relevant laws and regulations Assist in corporate governance matters, including drafting and reviewing documents, and coordinating with internal stakeholders Conduct legal research on various topics, including healthcare law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines with high-quality work product Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and operational teams Essential Qualifications 5-10 years of in-house healthcare industry experience, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and research experience Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate Highly organized self-starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work product in a fast-paced environment Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc. Outstanding references Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in law, healthcare, or a related field Certification in healthcare compliance or a related field Experience working with electronic health records and healthcare technology Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute Experience with legal research databases and software Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
