As a fully remote HRR Follow-Up Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the reimbursement they deserve, and that our revenue cycle runs smoothly and efficiently. **Responsibilities** As a Fully Remote HRR Follow-Up Representative, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: * Investigating claims status with insurance carriers and correcting and resubmitting denied claims to ensure maximum reimbursement * Reviewing and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and reason (ANSI) codes to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement * Submitting appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials * Utilizing insurance carrier websites to research and resolve claims issues * Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues and improve revenue cycle efficiency * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of claims status and follow-up activities * Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers **Key Responsibilities:** * Investigate claims status with insurance carriers and correct and resubmit denied claims to ensure maximum reimbursement * Review and interpret EOBs and reason (ANSI) codes to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement * Submit appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials * Utilize insurance carrier websites to research and resolve claims issues * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues and improve revenue cycle efficiency * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims status and follow-up activities * Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **Education Requirements:** + High School Diploma or GED * **Experience Preferred:** + 1 year of experience in insurance follow-up or a similar role + Epic experience preferred * **Experience Required:** + Submitting appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials + Knowledge of both government and commercial insurance plans + Ability to review and interpret EOBs and reason (ANSI) codes + Ability to use and understand insurance carrier websites **Ideal Candidate:** We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
