Your primary responsibilities will include: * Processing denied Prior Authorizations by reviewing case information, reaching out for additional details, and preparing cases for Pharmacists' final determination * Communicating directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns about denied medications, predominantly injectables administered at a doctor's office * Making outbound calls per shift to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction **Key Responsibilities:** * Process denied Prior Authorizations by reviewing case information, reaching out for additional details, and preparing cases for Pharmacists' final determination * Communicate directly with elderly members, addressing their concerns about denied medications, predominantly injectables administered at a doctor's office * Make outbound calls per shift to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction * Review and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance data * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and case outcomes * Collaborate with Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve complex patient cases **Requirements:** * Nationally Certified Technician (NCT) certification * Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) certification in Indiana, Alabama, Michigan, South Carolina, or North Carolina * 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare setting * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid patients * Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations * Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field * Experience with Prior Authorization and insurance verification processes **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * Remote work arrangement with flexible scheduling * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off **Compensation and Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding remote opportunity, please submit your application today.
