As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based data pipelines that drive business value across various industries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement data sets that meet the needs of our clients. If you have a passion for data engineering, a strong background in cloud-based technologies, and excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. • *Key Responsibilities** • Design, develop, and support cloud-based data pipelines using various technologies such as SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement data sets that meet the needs of our clients • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set blueprint/tables/views, and deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations • Work with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar • Develop and maintain automated work schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability • Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and adhere to best practices for data engineering • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering • *Essential Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field • 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support • Strong background in Python and SQL, ideally with Snowflake • Experience with creating in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization/development • Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers • Strong understanding of data set design and capability • *Preferred Qualifications** • Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar • Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS • Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub • Experience using Docker • *What We Offer** • Competitive salary: $27/hour • Opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team • Professional growth and development opportunities • Flexible work environment with remote work options • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off • Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools • Collaborative and inclusive work environment • *How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced Data Engineer looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [insert contact information].
