Job Overview We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team at blithequark. As a remote employee, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our members and providers, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, offering a competitive pay rate of $19.50 per hour. Key Responsibilities As a customer service representative at blithequark, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assisting to resolve missed visits or missed supplies by reaching out to providers for status updates and authorizations as needed Handling all long-term care (LTC) calls from members and providers, focusing on one-call resolution and answering calls in a timely manner Reviewing authorizations and correcting them as needed to match the Primary Care Case Plan (PCCP) Triage and routing calls correctly, attempting to resolve issues before escalating them to a supervisor or other team members Maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency, meeting performance expectations and metrics Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: 2-3 years of experience in managed care or a physician's office, with a strong understanding of medical terminology Call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service Typing skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently document interactions Experience with long-term care (LTC) and medical authorization processes Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Windows A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles Performance Expectations As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be expected to meet the following performance metrics: Call center metrics (talk time, hold, after-call work) at 95% or above Schedule adherence and call quality scores at 95% or above Consistently meeting or exceeding productivity and efficiency targets Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
