Our Client Services Team is looking for an Engagement Manager to help districts get the most value from our products. In this role, you will strengthen customer success through proactive engagement, capacity-building, renewal management, upselling, account expansion, customer advocacy, and risk mitigation. As an Engagement Manager, you will develop and nurture long-term relationships with school district leaders, working closely with Client Services, Marketing, and Sales to ensure a seamless and supportive customer experience. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in account management, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for helping customers grow with ClassLink. Responsibilities: • Become an expert on all ClassLink products with a special focus on specific needs for BOCES/RICS • Provide strategic and technical guidance on the use and expansion of the ClassLink suite of products • Maintain relationships with current customers in the assigned territory, including onsite meetings, phone, email, SWAG mailings, etc. to increase adoption and usage of ClassLink • Perform all account management duties, including proactive customer outreach, annual client review meetings, quoting, and renewal emails. • Serve as the education and product expert to support customer understanding of ClassLink • Confidently conduct demonstrations of ClassLink virtually and during conferences • Help develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations • Ensure year-over-year customer retention and assist with renewal fee negotiations as needed • Host regional and virtual user group events with current and prospective customers • Attend conferences and events in assigned territories, engaging with potential and current customers • Maintain documentation for each customer internally • Leverage tools provided to understand customer health and intervene when needed. • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and health • Serve as the education and product expert to support customer understanding of ClassLink • Deliver experiences that drive customer retention NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements: Required Skills: • Diverse rostering experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent sales and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Experience in presenting in virtual and online environments • Strong project management skills and the ability to be flexible when needed • Self-starter who can work independently Requested Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree • 3+ years experience in a senior consultative/account management role • Experience as a technology leader for a district office • Extensive knowledge of K-12 ed-tech marketplace • Administrator-level experience with ClassLink • Unwavering passion to improve classroom learning and pedagogy • Bachelor's degree required.
