Position: Brief Writer – Employment Law Location: Fully Remote (within California) Experience Required: 2+ years in Employment Law litigation (PAGA & FEHA focus) About the Role: Our client is a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking highly skilled Brief Writers to join their Employment Law practice. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to work with a top-tier team handling complex and high-impact employment cases across California. The ideal candidate will have strong experience drafting law and motion papers throughout the full litigation cycle, including motions for summary judgment (MSJs), oppositions, discovery motions, and settlement-related papers. Key Responsibilities: • Draft and prepare high-quality legal briefs, motions, oppositions, and settlement papers in employment litigation matters. • Support litigation teams in cases involving PAGA, FEHA, wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and class/collective actions. • Conduct thorough legal research and craft persuasive arguments for use at all stages of litigation. Qualifications: • JD and active California Bar admission (in good standing). • 2+ years of employment law litigation experience, with a focus on PAGA and FEHA matters. • Demonstrated expertise in law and motion practice, including MSJs. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between 120k-180k Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
