Aetna is seeking a dedicated EAP Counselor to join our team and provide support to our employees through our Employee Assistance Program. As an EAP Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our employees by providing confidential counseling services and resources to help them navigate personal and work-related challenges. Join us in our mission to promote a healthy and productive workforce by applying your skills and expertise as an EAP Counselor at Aetna. Provide confidential counseling services to employees through Aetna's Employee Assistance Program. Offer support and resources to employees dealing with personal and work-related challenges. Utilize your understanding of mental health issues to assist employees in managing and improving their well-being. Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for each employee. Collaborate with other members of the Aetna team to ensure a holistic approach to employee support. Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee interactions and progress. Stay up-to-date on current mental health research and techniques to continuously improve counseling services. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards employees, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with employees. Communicate effectively with employees, promoting self-care and healthy coping strategies. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance counseling skills. Follow Aetna's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality of services. Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Represent Aetna and the EAP program positively to employees and other stakeholders. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment for Aetna employees.
